Watch This: Frank Turner - Isabel

Unless you're new, you already know that Frank Turner is a huge favorite here. We love his music and his videos have typically been a big hit as well. The new video for Poetry of the Deed's anthemic "Isabel" is no different, though we've seen a few people panning it in the comments on YouTube (which admittedly, you should never read because they are typically very wrong bordering on moronic). To this we say au contraire, YouTube commenting folk; this video is like all of Frank's songs - gorgeous, intensely personal, and quite introspective. It fits the song perfectly.

Watch This: Tiësto feat. Tegan & Sara - Feel It In My Bones

While we're on a Tegan and Sara kick, check out the video for their collaboration with Tiësto, "Feel It In My Bones". They played a stripped down, acoustic version at their show on Sunday in Tampa, and I thought it was brilliant, but the original version is just as fantastic.

I'm a sucker for a simple acoustic performance. There's something about the lone guitar and vocals that tugs at my heart. This style perfectly suits the raw lyrics of "Heartless", from one of my favorite bands, Fake Problems.

Watch This: Margaret Cho - My Lil Wayne (ft Ben Lee)

Can we talk about Margaret Cho? I have had the biggest girl crush on her for years (along with Liz Lemon, she's my hero), and have always found her work - from her early standup, to her activism to her books and live performances - to be utter perfection. This video isn't what you might expect to see here, but it's impossible for me to ignore anything that she does.

With camera work by actress Ione Skye, and written and performed by Margaret Cho and Ben Lee (who also produced this masterpiece), this video packs a fair amount of star power, and a lot of wtf level hilarity. Regardless of how you feel about Lil Wayne's unfortunate incarceration, you're sure to have a laugh.

Watch This: Brandi Carlile - That Year

The music video for "That Year," the second single from Brandi's album, Give Up The Ghost, premiered exclusively on Vevo today. The video itself is a perfect foil for the (utterly gorgeous) song - dreamy and sweetly nostalgic. We all have a crush on Brandi - her lovely, lilting voice and perfect mastery of guitar, lyrics and melody make us swoon.

Oh, and heads up, non-USians, because Brandi is going to announce some European tour dates soon (her live performances are not to be missed). For now, folks in the states can catch a listing of her upcoming shows here.

Watch This: Land Of Talk - It's Okay

Canadian trio Land of Talk is one of those bands who never seem to tour the southeast US states, no matter how much I wish they would (but if you live in the Toronto area, you can catch them live for a few performances in early April). This video for "It's Okay" (which is my very favorite of their songs) is so compelling and visually stunning that it makes me want to pick up my camera and iPod and leave my house to explore, which is pretty rare considering that I almost never have any downtime and I typically like to hibernate indoors when I do.

The video has been around for awhile, but I was reminded of its relevance again a couple of weeks ago when it was named iTunes' free video download of the week, and I've been listening to the song on repeat again ever since. Watch it, I know you'll love it. After that, you can grab some free mp3s, right here (under 'downloads', natch).

Watch This: Nicole Simone - Melt

The video for Nicole Simone's tune "Melt" possesses the gorgeous sophistication of a classic Vogue editorial - dreamy and stunning. Simone's breathy, alluring voice causes me to consider with great satisfaction that this may perhaps hail the revival of the chanteuse - I am utterly enthralled.

Her first EP will be out on March 9th, but in the mean time, catch Nicole live on Wednesday, February 24th at 10pm at the Bootleg Theatre in L.A.
