ArcTanGent Festival organisers have announced ten new bands for the 2017 edition of the festival including Tesseract, Sikth, Tricot and Wot Gorilla?. Taking place from August 17th - 19th just outside of Bristol, the festival already boasts headliners in Explosions In The Sky and Converge, which will have sold most people anyway.
However, in an attempt to make ATG 2017 the best festival for heavy music they've added the likes of Bossk, Employed To Serve, Lost In Kiev, Gug, Physics House Band, and Strobes, as well as the aforementioned.
Organiser James Scarlett (who's also the man behind 2000Trees - fun fact!) had this to say about the reaction the festival has had so far:
"We’re overwhelmed with the reaction to the announcement of Converge and Explosions in the Sky. In the space of the first three hours we sold as many tickets as in the first six weeks last year. We’re on course for our first ever sell-out and that makes me very happy!”
