02 This summer, one of my favorite local bands, Churchill, released a set of covers they’d done of different Denver bands. I love that this city can do something so wonderful in a self-contained fashion. Their cover of Meese‘s “Standards” was my favorite of the bunch. Bethany’s delicate vocals capture the vulnerability of the original.
