30 Days of Covers: Panic

Written by Tiffiny  //  February 10, 2012  //  Features, Tracks  //  No comments

06 Smiths covers are tricky. I don’t care for most of them. I don’t know if it’s because I idolize/worship/am dependent upon this band. But, there are exceptions. And I’ll admit it, they’re always with female vocals. I suppose this has something to do with having such a different tone than Morrissey that I can ~*~accept~*~ it as a different interpretation. Anyway, as you may have guessed, this post is about such a track.

One of the first things that attracted me to Kitten was Chloe Chaidez being a Smiths fan. When I heard they were covering “Panic” I did a bit of hoping and praying that I would love it. And it is, indeed, fantastic. But I’ve rambled enough, so give it a listen for yourself.
