You know what a sucker we are for acoustic session videos (heck, we recently started recording sessions of our own). I am also a sucker for anything that Mal Blum does, and this track, “With Samson in Washington State,” is so sweet – the starkness of the lyrics (“We can fashion a rope from all of my regrets”) wrapped up in Mal’s beautifully earnest vocals make it just perfect.
