Listen: Craig Finn – New Friend Jesus

This is a great track. I can’t listen to it without smiling- partially because I’ve been anticipating this album so much. I basically idolize The Hold Steady, which many of you probably understand. Anyway- Craig Finn‘s solo record is due out right around the corner and this song is a fantastic preview. “New Friend Jesus” is country twang and clever lyrics (
“It’s hard to suck with Jesus in your band.”)
