Our sister blog has me listening to a lot of Sam Russo lately. I am a bit wary of falling in love with these indie UK musicians that will leave me high and dry in Denver, but sometimes the really great ones slip through. Sam recently did a split with Chuck Ragan, which guarantees that you should be paying attention. Anyway, to push me over the edge, Moon & Back did a session with Sam that churned out this spectacular performance. This is one that I’m going to turn into a low quality mp3 and listen to on my iPod over and over again. Give it a listen. Be wowed. Have your heart broken if you’re in middle America. If you’re in the UK, consider yourself incredibly lucky.
