All three of the London Ruckus ladies are partial to a little To Kill a King. Even so much that we will brave a boiling hot Relentless Garage in Highbury to see the band. They are recently signed to Virgin Records and have some Autumn tour dates with Wakey Wakey! If you’ve not heard of the band, embrace the glorious Americana-Folk with some pictures and a cheeky little SoundCloud embed.
To Kill a King drew a big crowd to the sweaty pit that is The Garage, there was definitely a load of fans singing along with lead singer, Ralph Pelleymounter. Yes that’s his actual name(!). Since the lads put out a single on Communion, they’ve gone from strength to strength; grabbing attention at Bushstock and soon to be releasing a debut EP, ‘My Crooked Saint E.P’ released on 17th October 2011. Though they may not be doing anything very different, for what they’re doing in their genre, they’re doing it well. With a bit more gigging experience and an EP on the way, we’re looking forward to see what’s coming next.
