I saw this last week and then got totally swamped and posting it went by the wayside, which is hard to believe with my intense love for Frightened Rabbit, but alas, I’ve been incredibly busy. If you haven’t heard this yet, listen now. “Fuck This Place” comes from an EP being released at shows (check here for dates) and has inevitably trickled on to the internet. It’s gorgeous. I’m using a lot of italics here, but this song warrants it. The track is not only FRIGHTENED RABBIT!, it features TRACYANNE CAMPBELL (of Camera Obscura). It’s just as sad and lovely as you think it is.
