Listening: Rilo Kiley Call It Quits

Written by Tiffiny  //  July 14, 2011  //  Features  //  2 Comments

Rilo+Kiley

As everyone probably knows by now Rilo Kiley has officially called it quits. Not that they’ve put out an album since 2007 and been pursuing other projects avidly, but there’s something about the final word that makes me a little sad. So, let’s reminisce: what are your favorite Rilo Kiley tracks? Here’s a few of mine:

Rilo Kiley – A Man/Me/Then Jim

Rilo Kiley – The Good That Won’t Come Out

Rilo Kiley – Portions For Foxes

Rilo Kiley – Does He Love You

Absolutely everything in ‘Take Offs and Landings’. I’m pretty bummed about this. Secretly I’d hoped they’d make another album.

This is terrible news! :-( I really love all of their albums, but there’s a special place in my heart for “Does He Love You” and “Paint’s Peeling”. Oh! And “Pictures of Success.” Love it.
