Five Songs I Heard On The Ruckus

[Editor's Note: In addition to being my husband (full time job) and occasionally contributing top fives to The Ruckus, James spends some time reading the music we put up. Yesterday was our anniversary and this list was a nice gesture of love. Just knowing that one person has been converted in their musical ways is the best part of doing this blog, especially if you share a home (and often a car stereo) with this person. -Tiffiny]
5. Churchill – Loud
A Denver band with natural talent and good looks. They have so much potential to make it really big. This song pumps me up when it’s time to get my pump on!
4. Josh Ritter – To the Dogs or Whoever
In addition to his clips on The Ruckus, check out a YouTube video of this song performed on David Letterman. Anyone who ever meets Josh is automatically a nicer person because of it.

3. Frank Turner – The Road
I absolutely love the “24 shows in 24 hours” episode that produced the video for this song. A Frank Turner show is a virtue of fortune for anyone who attends. The horizon is my home!
2. Fake Problems – 5678
I also love the prequel to this song called ‘1234’ but this one takes the prize. These young whippersnappers sure are groovy. They are Rock-CORE!
1. Ha Ha Tonka – St. Nick on the Fourth in a Fervor
Let’s get one thing straight from the get-go…This is the best song you may have never heard of so check out the video on the yube.
