Five Pre 90′s Songs I Was Exposed To Because of Later Media Releases

Here are five songs that I missed the first time around, but thanks to television, video games, and general pop culture, they found a way into my life (and into my heart).
Dance Hall Days – Wang Chung
One of the best songs from the Vice City soundtrack. The song makes absolutely no sense, though.
Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) – Journey
Another song I first heard in the 90s on a Beavis and Butt-Head episode. Thanks Mr. Judge for exposing a 90s boy to 80s music.
Journey – Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) – Journey
Sister Christian – Night Ranger
Whenever I’m motoring, I always ask what my price for flight is! Thanks again Vice City.
Night Ranger – Sister Christian
Holy Diver – Ronnie James Dio
My weird friend Jason liked Dio back in the day but I never paid any attention. I learned of this song from South Park’s ‘Hooked on Monkey Fonics’ episode..
Street Kids – Elton John
My father listened to Elton in the house as I grew up. I’ve loved his music my entire life but I never remember hearing this one. Grand Theft Auto 4’s Liberty Rock Radio exposed me to it.
