Photos: Wolf Gang at Neon Gold, The Great Escape

I have fallen for Wolf Gang rather quickly, it’s true. Their show at our first festival of the season, Camden Crawl saw them lighting up the rather sizable yet packed out Kentish Town Forum. Leading the crowd in anthemic tunes drawing comparisons to Chapel Club and Two Door Cinema Club, I could not wait to get down to The Great Escape to see them in the much more intimate venue of The Loft. We headed down to Neon Gold’s party at The Loft to see Wolf Gang and get our feet moving and fingers snapping on the Friday of the Great Escape. Note to self: it is hard to shoot bands whilst you’re dancing, but it’s rather enjoyable.

Don’t write Wolf Gang off by their recorded music, I became much more enamoured seeing them live. I was shooting away in a small sweaty club in Brighton, it was pushing on for 2.30am and then Wolf Gang gave us the epic ‘Lions in Cages’ and the crowd, including my partner and crime and I were whipped up into a sweaty frenzy. The photos don’t do justice to this amazingly electric live band.
