This morning for the drive in I put on If It Was You (Tegan and Sara) for the first time in quite awhile. I had one of those moments when I wondered why I ever listen to anything else. Especially with “And Darling (This Thing That Breaks My Heart)”, which I listened to at least three times in a row. I love this quirky little song so much. This is totally the song I go for on an album: the odd, sad, acoustic track. It takes that side of a relationship where you think you can’t live without the other person then reminds you that it can be taken away and your world will collapse.
