Songs You Probably Heard On Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Part II

Written by Tiffiny  //  March 25, 2011  //  Features  //  3 Comments

Buffy7

Last week’s Top Five was all about the songs that you probably heard on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in seasons one through four. Today, we’re back with part two in the series, with our top five songs that you probably heard on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in seasons five through seven.

Picking a mere five songs out of the dozens of great ones which were featured during the last few seasons of the series was a difficult task, especially with bands like The Misfits, The Ramones, and The Shins making an appearance. But manage we did, and here they are in the order in which they were featured (and yeah, that is a song from the Buffy musical Once More With Feeling. What, like we could leave it out?).

1. Dandy Warhols – Bohemian Like You
Triangle
Barmaid, bring me stronger ale, and some plump, succulent babies to eat.

Season 5, Episode 11: Triangle

Dandy Warhols – Bohemian Like You

2. Buffy Cast – I’ve Got a Theory/Bunnies/ If We’re Together
Omwf2
Bunnies, bunnies, it must be bunnies! …or maybe midgets.

Season 6, Episode 7: Once More With Feeling

Buffy Cast – I’ve Got A Theory/Bunnies

3. Michelle Branch – Goodbye To You
Tabularasa1
A vampire with a soul? How lame is that?

Season 6, Episode 8: Tabula Rasa

Michelle Branch – Goodbye To You

4. Azure Ray – Displaced
Seeing_red
Your shirt.

Season 6, Episode 19: Seeing Red

Azure Ray – Displaced

5. Aimee Mann – This Is How It Goes
Sleeper
Man, I hate playing vampire towns.

Season 7, Episode 8: Sleeper

Aimee Mann – This Is How It Goes

We hope you’ve enjoyed our little trip back to 1630 Revello Drive; we know we have! Did we miss any of your favorites? Tell us in the comments.

God, that Dandys song gets around. It was on the Disney Channel yesterday. Why was I watching the Disney Channel? I’ll never tell.
And you’re right. I could never, ever choose just five songs. You’re a stronger woman than I!

I loved this two-parter. Buffy had some great music. And heck yeah, Once More With Feeling!
