SORTED Food

So, SORTED is a YouTube based cooking channel geared toward novice cooks (and not so coincidentally, folks who are typically just out of school and on their own for the first time) that promises to show us how to whip up simple, cheap and tasty grub – heavily seasoned with banter. The episodes are well produced, fun, and surprisingly slick, with a sort of early The Naked Chef vibe.
Based on a student cookbook that chef Ben Ebbrell and photographer Barry Taylor whipped up while they were still at university, SORTED aims to help new cooks become comfortable in the kitchen, while turning out some really great looking (and tasting!) food. The show is really informative and engaging, and if I’m honest, you don’t need to be a novice cook to enjoy them (and pick up a few new tips). As a matter of fact, their take on hangover food would be absolutely perfect for our very own Lizzie:
Check out the newest episode for yourself (featuring our favorite video blogger Charlie McDonnel).

That looks lovely and I mean this in a nice way but that would so come back up. My hangover’s are a killer.
Substenance? Is that substantial sustenance? Hangover food that takes 3people a ½hour+ to make, and a whole bowl of washing up?!
Butter > Pan > Heat
Bread > Toaster
Eggs > Pan > Stir quickly with fork
Toast > Butter > Marmite(or English Mustard(from Norfolk!) if you don’t like Marmite, freak) > Scrambled Eggs
5mins. and a single pan to wash.
Now sit and watch the GP, or Google the name on the driving license you’ve found in the purse/wallet of whoever that is asleep in your bed!
