This was my first time seeing Ayo Awosika perform a live, solo set. Her music is just as lovely as she is and made for quite a relaxing sunset at The Hornet Saturday night. Ayo’s songs were keyboard driven, accompanied by a bass guitar. Her vocals are astounding. Make sure to check out Ayo’s duo project with Megan Burtt, Travel By Skylark.
