Big Tune: Kitten – Don’t Kill The Light

I gave this track a listen before finding out any information on the band. Upon falling in love with “Don’t Kill the Light”, I did some reading and found out that the appropriately named Kitten is fronted by the fifteen year old Chloe Chaidez. Despite Ms. Chaidez’s age, she is putting out vocals and lyrics of someone with years of experience. Perhaps the raw teenage emotion that we all still feel from time to time is what draws me in. Either way, I can’t wait to hear more from these talented teens.

Bonus note from Mel: Paramore’s Hayley Williams was kicking a lot of ass at this age too, which sort of bodes well for Chaidez’s future. “Don’t Kill The Light” is a fucking awesome song.
