Big Tune: Vampire Weekend – Ruby Soho (Rancid Cover)

This is in essence what I love about Twitter: my friend Adam (who happens to be my best friend Rachel’s boy) retweeted his friend Chris’s tweet about this insanely brilliant cover of Rancid’s “Ruby Soho”, which is a song that was seminal in my introduction to punk music, and remains one of my favorite songs of all time (as the brilliant Frank Turner sings, “punk rock saved my life”).

This cover makes me feel like I’m 18 again, but in a really weird way. I like it.
