Lisa Hannigan opened for a sold out David Gray show in Denver, which I was not lucky enough to get tickets to. However, a few days before the gig, it was announced that Ms. Hannigan and her band would be playing an in-store show at Borders.
The set was short and sweet. The small setting allowed for a special quality. It felt informal, intimate, and was simply incredible. The short song list included favorites like “Lille” and “Ocean and a Rock” as well as a brand new track.
