When our own Tiffiny asked if seeing Josh Ritter in concert was a valid career choice, she was asking a perfectly legitimate question.
Few performers are such a joy to watch. Josh practically beams with the essence of the music he and his band perform. Performing a shorter set than usual in a support role for the Swell Season, Josh still took the opportunity to perform several as-yet-unreleased songs along with material from his albums The Animal Years and The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter (the best album title a man named Josh Ritter could have).
Admittedly, after seeing this and the next night’s performance, I’m still craving more.
